I had a great day today, replete with just all around giving. I learned quite a bit about myself and about others.
This verse is a result of those reminders and confirmations.

Give from your soul, expect nothing back
But when it comes, accept it, and just relax
We as people, operate off ego
Whether we admit it...we're all critics
Searchin' for answers, when we already have them
Subdued by news, opposing views skewed
Is religion wisdom when its all about division?
Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu, Christian
Natural laws involved, we really can't escape em'
Mind over matter, we're of our own makin'
Don't judge a man as poor, no shoes on his feet
His wealth may exist beyond what you see
We're all about "Do for Self," but we all need help
Be it money, education or sustainin' health
We're divine souls, our experience human
Sharpenin' tools for a life of our own choosin'
