December...

Sup World,
I want to start this blog off by saying December is a crazy month for me.
I now live in Florida (its been 2 years now), so the fact that there is no snow on the ground makes for an interesting alternative from what I was used to living for many years in Maryland. The weather on average is about 80 degrees most days. Rain often it does, but its the sacrifice I suppose for having the ability to soak up sunshine practically everyday. Being away from my fam during this month of all months is a little difficult. My birthday is Dec. 9th and I'm used to spending time with family on my birthday, whether that be friends or my immediate family. I did, however, hit the Moon Men Music studio in Hialeah and recorded some dope new music, which I will post soon. Knowing I was putting in work in the studio on my birthday felt good as opposed to hittin' the bar and getting drunk. That actually may become a yearly tradition.
During this month I also like to visit my grandmothers and aunts during the Christmas season. Phone conversations have been my primary means of connection. Family is important, as they are the only one's you can look to to hold you down when you need it. Family knows you, and you don't need to brush them up on some things, as they've observed you grow become the person you are today. December for me is really a time for reflection on my failures and successes, my ebbs and my flows, my strengths and my weaknesses, so that I can make next year that much better.
